Garage
The garage is heated, so please minimize the times that the doors are open in the winter. There is a thermostat and a humidistat for the garage, both should be left in their positions…heat and ventilation will occur automatically.
There is a snowblower in the garage which can be used if there is a large snowfall. Fuel for the snowblower is in the large red jerry can near the unit. Use the snowblower with caution…avoid blowing snow onto the neighbor’s yards, and especially on the fence across the lane from the garage…the people in that house are not very friendly.
To start:
- Check the oil and fuel.
- Press the priming bulb twice and turn on the choke on the top of the engine.
- Made sure the throttle is set to full speed and the fuel valve is open. (back of engine above pull cord)
- Pull the cord to start. An electric start is also available if needed…the cord should be hanging nearby.
- Once the engine starts, turn the choke off.
The man door for the garage is equipped with a code lock which has your code programmed in. The regular house key will open the man door for the garage, as well as the front and side doors.

Note: If for some reason you cannot get into the regular door, the code for the overhead door on the outside keypad is noted on the Code Sheet. Punch in the code and press Enter to open the overhead door.
